Devilish Problem

in the news report ‘devil behind wheel hard to check’ (oct 13), mr maxwell pereira, joint commissioner of police (traffic), has ‘warned’ delhi citizens that ‘‘there are millions of drivers in the capital who have acquired driving licences through dubious means’’. having admitted this, it now becomes incumbent upon the jcp (t) to enlighten the citizenry as to what these ‘dubious means’ are and whether his department is capable of bringing to book those other ‘‘devils’’ who possess the means to issue these fake licences. r s deshpande, new delhi
